Here is the fourth textile in my collection titled "Garden District." This floral design is art deco inspired and named after an adorable section of Charlotte I stumbled upon recently. Below you'll find "Garden District" in four different color ways. I also had some fun screen printing this onto fabric yesterday in the emerald color scheme…
You've met Latta and Eliza, now I present to you Noda. This is one of my favorites because there are so many ways to print it. One color, two colors, three colors, four! Below you will find Noda in repeat sticking to my color story. You'll also find Noda screen printed and sewn into coin purses, which are available at www.mokoandco.com.
Meet Eliza! Here is one of my designs from The Charlie Collection. Eliza came from one of my photographs of Charlotte. I sketched out the motif, manipulated it by computer, and voila! Here she is in eggplant, mauve, and slate.
My newest venture has been creating a line of fabric that I will use in my sewn goods. My inspiration has been Charlotte, NC, which is why this collection is titled "Charlie." I will be checking in with my blog with updates throughout the entire process. Today I wanted to share my mood board that I designed with images from around town. I pulled color swatches from these images that will be used when I print. More to follow soon!
